The Bible is not clear, it is not the Book of Truth but the book of contradictions, just make a comparison:
supposedly, saint Stephen prayed for his enemies while he was being stoned by the wicked, his enemies, but this does not fit with the rest of the prophecies regarding the saints and their feelings toward their enemies, neither with the wisdom of Solomon in this same regards:
Proverbs 29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
The Stoning of Stephen
Acts 7:54 When the members of the Sanhedrin heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him. 55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. 56 “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”
57 At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, 58 dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul.
59 While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.
Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Psalms 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
Jehovah loves the righteous people only, but he hates the unrighteous people, the purpose of the death of Jesus in the cross has been falsified in the Bible by the roman empire because the Bible is its creature, if you can believe the true prophecies (Psalms 22-> Psalms 110), then you are saying that Jehovah is a faithful, just like Abraham did (Genesis 18:25), but if not, then you are saying that Jehovah is a deceiver, just as Satan did (Genesis 3:4): Psalms 5:4 For not a God desiring wickedness [art] Thou, Evil inhabiteth Thee not.
5 The boastful station not themselves before Thine eyes: Thou hast hated all working iniquity.
6 Thou destroyest those speaking lies, A man of blood and deceit Jehovah doth abominate.
7 And I, in the abundance of Thy kindness, I enter Thy house, I bow myself toward Thy holy temple in Thy fear.
8 O Jehovah, lead me in Thy righteousness, Because of those observing me, Make straight before me Thy way,
9 For there is no stability in their mouth. Their heart [is] mischiefs, An open grave [is] their throat, Their tongue they make smooth.
10 Declare them guilty, O God, Let them fall from their own counsels, In the abundance of their transgressions Drive them away, Because they have rebelled against Thee.
11 And rejoice do all trusting in Thee, To the age they sing, and Thou coverest them over, And those loving Thy name exult in Thee.
